Compliance
support
Documentation for fragrance oils and fragrance products, tailored to the formula, application and target market. Together, we identify the documents and notification requirements relevant to your project.
Documentation for your application
Planning a fragrance product and need the right documentation? We first clarify the fragrance oil, intended application, concentration and target markets. We review the available information and agree the documentation scope and responsibilities for the next steps. The fragrance oil and finished product are considered separately.

Our services

CPNP support
CPNP applies to finished cosmetic products, such as perfume for use on the skin. The designated responsible person must submit the notification before the product is placed on the market. It replaces neither the safety assessment nor the product information file. The scope and responsibilities of our support are agreed within the project.
CLP support
CLP governs the classification, labelling and packaging of substances and mixtures within its scope. The formula and concentration of the specific mixture are decisive. A fragrance oil label therefore cannot simply be transferred unchanged to a diluted home fragrance product.
PCN & UFI for mixtures requiring notification
PCN and UFI are relevant to mixtures requiring notification that are classified for health or physical hazards. We establish the application, target countries and responsibilities. Generating a UFI alone does not fulfil the notification obligation; it must be linked to the appropriate notification and labelling.
IFRA for the intended application
IFRA information relates to the specific fragrance formula, product category and permitted use level in the finished product. An IFRA Certificate of Conformity confirms compliance with the IFRA Standards for the stated application; it does not replace a safety assessment or regulatory approval.
SDS & allergen information
Safety data sheets (SDS) describe hazards, handling, storage and protective measures for the relevant mixture. We tailor the required documents to the product and target market.
Allergen information for the fragrance formula supports assessment and labelling of the finished product. The actual fragrance concentration, product type and applicable labelling rules are decisive.
