How we develop your home fragrance

Briefing

We discuss the product type, target audience and desired scent effect in the room. Please specify the carrier system, packaging, target market, planned quantity and timeline for your home fragrance project.

Fragrance direction

Together, we define the fragrance family, character and intensity. We consider whether the scent should be released steadily through a diffuser or directly through a room spray.

Initial fragrance samples

We develop initial fragrance oil samples and agree on sampling in the intended carrier system. You evaluate scent character, intensity and performance in the planned application.

Refinement

We refine the selected composition based on your feedback. The scent profile, use level and further evaluation in the carrier system are agreed with you.

Compliance

We tailor IFRA information, safety data sheets and allergen information to the project. For finished cosmetic and home fragrance products, we separately establish any additional steps and responsibilities.

Production approval

Before fragrance oil production, we agree on the formula, specification, quantity, containers and delivery date. Any formulation, filling or packaging of a finished home fragrance product is agreed separately as required.

Delivery

You receive the fragrance oil within the agreed scope of supply, together with the agreed documentation. We plan delivery dates and potential repeat orders together.

Documentation and responsibilities

The fragrance oil and finished home fragrance mixture are considered separately. We establish the required documents and responsibilities for classification, labelling and, where applicable, PCN notification and UFI.
